I start my photography class tomorrow.
I have a student number again. and had to buy a notebook. and need to pack a bag for school. (except, you know, I have to take that bag to work with me because I have to head to school straight from there.) I looked at a campus map today to figure out where my class is. it's kinda freaking me out.
I'm not sure what to expect from this class. I'm hoping to learn some basics about manipulating the settings on my camera. maybe even some general history or philosophical discussions about photography. someone actually asked me why I would "waste" my money on a photography class when I was "already pretty good". clearly, this person doesn't know me very well. or know much about photography. I'm not in this for the improvement. I'm in this for the knowledge. if the knowledge leads to improvement, well that's great, that's what should naturally happen. I just want to be able to look through the lens, know what I want to capture, and be able to adjust the settings to capture it.
I think I'm getting off topic. per usual.
I'm really excited to see what happens. (but still kinda nervous)
